He delivered segments on health, science and medicine on the 5 pm news. Before that he was the health and science editor for KYW-TV in Philadelphia from 1984 until 1991. In July 2007, "Dr. Max", as he is known, signed as a freelance medical reporter for WCBS-TV in New York.
